1. Agreement to terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Leaping Logic (“we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Rental Business Directory website at rentalbusinessdirectory.com and related services (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or listing a business, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

2. About the Service

Rental Business Directory is an online directory for the rental industry. It allows businesses across rental categories to list their company, and allows customers to search for, discover, and contact rental businesses near them.

The Service is a directory and introduction platform only. We are not a party to, and are not involved in, any rental, booking, transaction, contract, or agreement between a customer and a rental business. We do not own, operate, inspect, endorse, or guarantee any business, listing, equipment, or service. Any rental — and any related pricing, payment, delivery, performance, and dispute — is solely between the customer and the business.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Accounts & registration

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts as described in Section 15.

5. Business listings

If you list or claim a business on the Directory, you represent and warrant that:

• You are authorised to create and manage the listing and to act on behalf of the business;
• All listing information is accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading;
• You hold all rights necessary to the content you submit, including logos, photos, and descriptions.

You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate and up to date. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and presentation), and distribute your listing content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

We may review, categorise, format, moderate, decline, or remove any listing or content at our discretion. We may verify businesses and claimed listings; any “verified” or similar status indicates a basic review only and is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of the business or its quality, licensing, insurance, or conduct.

6. Leads & enquiries

The Service passes customer enquiries, contact requests, quote requests, and similar communications (“Leads”) to listed businesses. By submitting an enquiry, a customer consents to their enquiry and contact details being shared with the relevant business so that the business can respond.

We do not guarantee the number, quality, accuracy, or outcome of any Leads, or that any business will respond. Businesses that receive Leads must use the customer’s information only to respond to the enquiry, in compliance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy, and must not use it for unrelated marketing without the customer’s consent.

We are not responsible for how a business handles a Lead, responds to a customer, or performs (or fails to perform) any rental or service.

7. Reviews & user content

The Service lets users post reviews, ratings, comments, photos, and other content (“User Content”). You may only post a review based on a genuine, first-hand experience. You must not post fake, incentivised, or misleading reviews, or reviews of your own business or a competitor.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third party’s rights. You must not post content that is false, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.

You retain ownership of your User Content and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, host, store, reproduce, display, publish, adapt, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Service. We may, but are not obliged to, moderate, edit, decline, or remove User Content, and may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Post false, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content, or impersonate any person or business;
• Submit fake leads, or fake, incentivised, or manipulated reviews;
• Scrape, harvest, crawl, or copy listings, reviews, or other data except as expressly permitted;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications;
• Misuse customer or business contact information obtained through the Service;
• Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person.

9. Fees & paid features

Creating a basic business listing is free. We may also offer paid or premium listings, placements, or features. Where you purchase a paid feature, the applicable price, billing cycle, and terms will be presented at the point of purchase. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable. We may change fees for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

10. Intellectual property

The Service — including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, and all related intellectual property — is owned by Leaping Logic or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

“Rental Business Directory”, “Leaping Logic”, and related names and logos are our trademarks; you may not use them without our prior written permission.

11. Third-party links & businesses

The Service contains listings for, and links to, third-party businesses and websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party business or website. Your dealings with any business or website are solely between you and that third party.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that listings, reviews, leads, or other content are accurate, complete, current, or reliable. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, any business, listing, equipment, rental, review, or lead. You use the Service, and engage any business, at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leaping Logic and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, any business or rental found through the Service, or any leads, reviews, or content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Leaping Logic and its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your listings or User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

15. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, or remove any listing or content, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Service, other users, or the public.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

16. Changes to the Service & these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in New York will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue, except where prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Section headings are for convenience only.
